Career OpinionWhat really irked me today was the “Career Opinions” that one of my career assisting websites asked me. The questions are usually of the format of; I think a university (not including Ryerson) education can get me a better job than a college (including Ryerson) education. Yes or No.

Out of the norm, today my career opinion was precisely this, “The World Trade Centre bombing has significantly changed the way I view the world. Yes or No”. Now correct me if I’m wrong (I know I’m right so don’t bother “correcting”, instead agree) but how the hell is this a career opinion? Is this career opinion really asking me, “I would want to work on a high rise building that is filled with very important people. Yes or No”

I don’t understand what kind of an opinion this is, but it seems to be more of a personal opinion and not a career opinion. This is an outrage, this shouldn’t be happening. It’s like as if they are trying to sell my information which is something that I’m not entirely sure if I agreed upon. Anyway, long story short, is that I am appalled that U of T would stoop that low.

That’s my personal opinion.

Haha, that’s so funny! i get the same poll as well on the site. probably a glitch - but, isn’t the answer so obvious? i mean 9/11 definitely HAS changed everyone’s view about world — a bold statement (i agree), but it’s the truth.. and my personal opinion, lol.
